Michael is a versatile business technology executive with over 23 years experience covering senior management roles for banks, consultancies, and startups. Michael has predominately been focused in the Payments domain and on delivering digital products and services through transformation programmes in financial services in the UK and internationally.
Michael is responsible for leading Delta Capita's Data, Technology, Automation and Testing (DTAT) solutions practice where we focus on addressing client-driven challenges by co-creating unique propositions that range from providing automation solutions, managed services to consulting and advisory services leveraging our deep industry expertise across financial services, alongside our proprietary products, strategic tooling partners and technical resources, both onshore and offshore, to deliver bespoke, results-focused solutions for our clients.
He also leads our payments consulting practice where he and his team helped SWIFT facilitate the ISO 20022 program across the banking community while also working with a number of banks on everything from business and technology advisory and impact assessments, voice of the customer, centre of excellence creation, SME support, payment controls, gap analysis, through to program delivery.
Prior to joining Delta Capita, Michael worked as Digital Payments Product Head at HSBC. He created and led new digital payment products initiatives, including the delivery and global commercialisation of HSBCnet Track Payments & SWIFT gpi and ISO 20022 adoption. Michael’s experience also includes launching innovative entrepreneurial ventures complimented by a diverse educational background in Information Technology and postgraduate business qualifications from London Business School and University of Cambridge.
