Delta Capita Group Ltd (together, “DC”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects certain information or data (such as that listed below) about individuals:

·       where they visit or use the www.deltacapita.com website or other websites operated by or on behalf of DC (together, the “Websites”) or our social media pages;

·       where they contact us including by email or telephone;

·       through sales and marketing activities;

·       where they apply for work with us; and

·       where they otherwise engage with us for business purposes (for example where we engage with contacts of our suppliers).

This privacy notice explains how DC collects and uses personal information and provides information about individuals’ rights.

It applies to personal data provided to us by the individuals themselves and to personal data we collect. By using the Websites and / or submitting any personal information or otherwise engaging with us, you agree to the use by DC of such data in accordance with this privacy notice.

Please note that any third parties’ use of your personal data will be governed by their own privacy policies and give rise to separate obligations under data protection laws. We suggest you carefully review any third-party privacy policies that may apply to you.

What we collect

DC may collect personally identifiable information which is specifically and voluntarily provided by individuals and processes that information for certain purposes. Personal data may include your name, address, email address and other contact information. We engage in data processing activities for the effectiveoperation of the DC business. For example, we process personal data for thefollowing purposes:

·      Prospective staff data forrecruitment purposes;

·      Clients / prospective clients staffcontact details for effective management of client relationships and marketing. We may also use client / prospective client staff contact data to provide information about DC’s business, services and events, and other informationwhich may be of interest to them;

·      Participant / prospective participant data for enrolment and participation in our courses, programmes andevents and to provide information about DC’s business, services and events, andother information which may be of interest to them;

·      Supplier staff contact details for effective management of the supplier relationship.


In addition, DC may collect personal information when you submit your details to request information through our “talk to us” or “submit your CV” facilities. You may also choose to provide personal information in the following examples:

·      Submit resumes, including employment history information

·      Participate in discussion or message forums

·      Contact us for further information

·      Providing us with business cards

·      Engage with us via social media.

We do not actively seek demographic information, including gender and occupation, but such information may be submitted when a visitor submits a CV through the“submit your CV” facility. It is DC’s policy to limit the information collected to only the minimum information required to complete a visitor’s request. Visitors may be able to send emails through the Websites. Their messages will contain the user’s screen name and email address, as well as any additional information the visitor may wish to include in the message. We do not recommend that you submit and DC does not seek via the Websites, information of a sensitive nature including data relating to race or ethnic origin; political opinion; religious or other similar beliefs; trade union membership; physical or mental health; sexual life or criminal record. If you choose to provide sensitive information for any reason, the act of doing so constitutes your explicit consent and DC accepts such consent to use that information in the ways described in this privacy notice or as described at the point where you choose to disclose this information.

Use of Data

When you provide personal information to us, we use it for the purposes for which it was provided to us as stated at the point of collection. This may include the referral of personal information to one of our international offices as part of our global business. Our affiliates outside of the UK and / or EU have entered into the European Commission approved standard contractual clauses covering the EU and UK requirements for the transfer of data to them. We do not collect or compile personally identifiable information for dissemination or sale to outside parties for consumer marketing purposes, or host mailings on behalf of third parties.

The lawful bases we rely on for processing your personal information are consent, performance of the contract we hold with you, to comply with the law, and our legitimate interests.

If you do not provide us with the data we request, we may not be able to provide our services to you.

Marketing

We conduct research to identify appropriate persons at companies and other organisations who we feel, given their position and role, may be interested in, or benefit from, receiving details of our services and events. We obtain details of such persons from publicly-available information on the internet or via social media platforms such as LinkedIn. The legal basis on which we process personal data and communicate with data subjects in these circumstances is our legitimate interest to promote our services and events.

Third Parties

DC may disclose your personal information to unaffiliated third parties if we believe that such disclosure is necessary: (a) to comply with the law or in response to a court order, government request, or other legal or regulatory process;(b) to protect the interests, rights, safety, or property of DC and its people;(c) to perform and exercise rights under any contract with you or any person who you represent, or any terms of service on the Websites (d) to provide you with information from DC at your request; or (e) to ensure effective operation of DC’s business and operate DC’s systems properly.

We share personal information with our service providers such as our IT suppliers, and our professional advisors such as our lawyers, in the normal course of our business.  

We may transfer your personal information to a purchaser of our business in which case your personal information will be one of the transferred assets or to an investor in our business (and their advisors).

Data Retention
The personal data you submit to us will only be retained for as long as is required for the purposes for which it was collected and for as long as the law requires us to.
